The top left corner of the Minecraft Launcher contains the user's Xbox gamertag for the currently active account (which might differ from their Minecraft: Java Edition username). Here is a copy of the log I get when I press Play: : Minecraft Launcher 1.5.3 (through bootstrap 5) started on osx. I use a Mac, I have the most recent Launcher and the most recent Java.
No matter how many times I press Play, nothing happens. I try to click on the button that says Play and all it does is say Preparing for a few seconds, then it goes back to saying Play. When I bring up the launcher, I see the updates and stuff like normal.
